Just as a common thread runs through a beautiful tapestry, the common threads of painting and creativity run throughout my entire life. Painting is the bridge of joy that life has gifted me to share my heart, joy and inspirations with the world. It is an outward expression of my inner connection to the original Artist whose paintbrush creates the beauties of life that continually awe me.
The beauty, peace and grace of nature inspire and uplift my soul and my joy is found through expressing these images in color and form. Beginning with a flower or a sunset, I allow the painting to take on a life of its own. Symbols such as hearts often find themselves being created within the landscapes and flowers that I paint.
My hope is to inspire and touch people’s hearts with the art that I create. My intention is to instill qualities such as love, joy, and peace within my paintings. And my life’s work is to continually open to all the beauty and joy of life and then to give this to the world through the form of my art.
